I am in eighth grade and have to deal with this and my dad being in the military, deployed no less! My BEST FRIEND has been cyberbullying me for a month now and it just won't go away! All you people say just tell a teacher, but that made it worse. She rebeled back by tellig my friends that I don't know how to deal and take care of my own conflicts, and then they turned against me for her!! She sends me text messages saying that I don't have any friends and no one likes me because I am a teachers pet. She will type a message on her school laptop and turn her computer to one of her friends and then they will look at me and laugh. What, do they think I am a stupid idiot, I know they are talking about me. It hurts and we need to stop it NOW!! I have had thoughts of suicide, but God has helped me overcome those thoughts. I have not wanted to go to school though! I refuse sometimes to get up out of bed and go to school, but my mom drags me out and I do go to school. These memories will torture me for the rest of my life and they will NEVER go away!!! I am scarred for life because of being cyber-bullyed!!! help stop it NOW!! I am not trying to relieve bullies of thier responsibilities, what they did was wrong, and they deserve to be punished in some sort of way. But it is the fault of the parents for not noticing the changes in thier child, it is also the fault of the bullier's parents for not noticing what a terror thier child is. I myself am 15 and have been cyber bullied repeatedly for being different, I am strange, but I do not see that as a scar of ostracization, i saw it a a badge of pride. The girl ended up moving out of our school after we both got suspended. If it's over the internet block the person, or cancel your account. People who are out there bullying are stupid. They only do it to make themselves feel better. If they feel so bad about themselves that they have to bully others they should go see a shrink.
