I have gotten bullyed my whole entire life and it makes you feel like you don’t belong like no one wants you here and it hurts you a lot. I say now is the time where bullying at schools or anywhere stops now and we mean now. We don’t need anymore people wanting to kill themselves because of this. No one should be cyber bullied and no should feel the need to bully someone online. Many can get hurt and then never recover from it

I think that kids need to see real life examples of cyberbullying to believe that it is a problem. Many of them think that sending a text or posting on a website can’t hurt anything because they don’t see the reaction of the other person face-to-face. As a teacher of middle schoolers, I have heard kids talk about both sides: those who are the bullies and those who are bullied. Since kids aren’t likely to stop using technology, we need to find a way to make kids understand that their words have consequences, even if they can’t personally see the reaction.

This is a very important topic, in the coming 6 weeks our children are going to be going back to school and all these bully’s are going to be poised to prey on our children. It is just too easy to get access to our children now days. But I need them to have their phone, so that they can reach me or that I can reach them at any time. Safety is my top priority, and I will do anything and everything in my power to protect my children. I have parental controls on our machines at home, and even on my work laptop in the event that I let my 7 year old play clubpenguin or look for things that interest him on the Internet. They are so smart. I tell you one thing, Google is pretty awesome, not sure how they do it, but keeping the pornography out of their searches. More and more I think we are becoming more careful and more concerned for the safety of our children. I love this site TextKills.com the most. Something new each day about the dangers of texting and driving. Up to the date stuff. They publish lots of my comments and seem to really care. - Concerned Father
